The Role: As the Property Officer, you will also be responsible for high level administrative assistance to support day to day activities within Property and to work within legislation and policy requirements. You will be the first point of contact for Facilities Management with regards to National Office property matters and will need to provide high quality professional, friendly and respectful management of all enquiries and issues. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities include: Providing thorough information and effective support to internal and external stakeholders High level administrative support to the Property Team Support the Property Team to maintain current sites in accordance with the Strategic Property Plan Point of contact for facility services and repairs Support day to day property activities including fleet activities and building access Carry out WHS Inspections, manage any issues arriving from the WHS inspections, maintain contact list along with WHS recommendations provision of equipment on behalf of WHS. About you: To be successful in this role you will have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, together with an exceptional level internal and external stakeholder management. In addition, you will present with: A high level accuracy and attention to detail Strong Administration experience and a high level of competency with Microsoft Office The ability to demonstrate flexibility within a team and to communicate effectively with people at all levels to ensure the smooth, efficient and on time operation of the office The ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner Proven experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders Proven ability provide high level administrative and coordination support Previous experience in working in a commonwealth property environment including facilities management is desirable As this role is within the Federal Government, applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
