We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated IT Project Coordinator to join an award-winning community services provider based close to the Brisbane CBD. The successful candidate will be a part of a large scale business wide ICT Transformation and Information/Cyber Security Project. This opportunity will be for an initial 3 month day rate contract, there is a strong chance this will extend beyond that time.

Reviewing project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements of available resources to various phases of project. Working with the integrators/vendors to ensure they are carrying out tasks in conjunction with project deliverables. Drafting of communications and documentation ensuring business engagement by creating awareness of our operational systems strategy, road-map and project initiatives.

Building solid internal relationships and ensuring regular communication is provided to the key business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Scheduling meetings, running workshops and assisting with minutes and distribution of agenda and other material as required. Attends weekly project work in progress (WIP) meetings Engages senior technical staff to provide technical advice and to resolve problems where necessary Key Requirements: 3 years experience in project related role Proven ability to coordinate on IT relate projects within a large organisation Diploma qualified Project Management or Industry Certificate (PMBOK/Prince2) Experience in coordinating, planning and executing multidisciplinary activities.
