The Role You Could Play: Reporting to our Chief Ret ail Officer, w e are looking for a Head of Central Operations to lead our Retail Support team and play a pivotal role as the conduit between store operations and Support Centre .

W ith simplicity being your guiding beacon , you will drive continuous improvement initiatives , pioneer smarter ways of working, and en sure our store teams have the right tools and informatio n on hand – empowering them to make great trading decisions. Your success will see you work closely with other Support Centre departments to ensure the Retail team are represented and set-up to execute MECCA’s strategic agenda. A hallmark of your role will be as a change agent throughout the rollout of our technology and digital program , and you will help to bridge the divide between online and stores.

With little red tape and a true opportunity to land change, you will also take responsible for : Ensuring our stores run efficient and effective operations , with a focus on process simplification and cost reduction Improv ing the management and timely resolution of in-bound store requests and issues , and improve the Support Centre level of service delivery to stores Improving our reporting and insights capability for store leaders Serv ing as the product owner and subject matter expert for all store- facing systems , and p r oactively work with vendor account managers to drive continuous improvement Lead the implementation of new in-store initiatives and being account able for all elements of the change Monitor ing and control ling costs associated with store cleaning, consumption of consumables, tester usage and work with business partners to build strategies and implement actions to control costs. Establish ing forums and mechanisms to facilitate the sharing and implementation of best practises across stores and regions What You Will Bring: Along with your extensive operations experience, you are driven by operational effectiveness and have the store teams and customer front of mind at all times . Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate the following: Extensive central operations experience in a large retail environment (100 stores) Experience as a project or program manager, with extensive experience influencing and building long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organisation Experience in successfully implementing transformational change involving technology in a retail environment Proven ability to lead, inspi.
