A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Crown Procurement team as a Procurement Officer – Food. Reporting to the Sourcing Manager - Goods, this role will be responsible for sourcing, facilitating and negotiating the delivery of exceptional quality goods and services to the business at a cost-effective price and within reasonable timeframes. Key selection criteria: Source products for the best quality and price that aligns with Crown’s objectives and budgets Finding alternative supply for non-delivered and out of stock items with contracted suppliers Conduct product sampling sessions and make decisions on substitute items to reduce cost Seeking goods as a special buy stocks which are at lower cost than normal goods to reduce costs to internal customers Ongoing item maintenance Assisting with category tenders and contract administration What you need: Degree in Business/Commerce/Economics or Finance is highly regarded Previous experience in a similar Procurement role Strong working knowledge of Zycus and Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel Exceptional ability to prioritise workload and work under strict deadlines Experience collaborating in a team environment A high attention to detail The ability to liaise and build strong working relationships with Senior stakeholders Exceptional communication and negotiation skills What we offer you: The chance to be a part of an established high performing Procurement team Free meals at our staff restaurant Flexible working arrangements Paid parental leave Discounts across the Crown venues How to apply: If you are ready to take the next step in your Procurement career and believe you have the tools to learn and be part of our award –winning team, apply now.
