A bit about the role The Delivery Manager reports to the Service Portfolio Manager within the Service Coordination Team. This team sits within the broader Service Team, an autonomous team of 30-120 people delivering ongoing IT and network change following scaled agile and DevOps practises.

Each Service Team supports a unique set of business processes and is aligned to the business organisation. This role involves the facilitation of the Service Team major events and processes. This includes supporting the organisation configuration of the Service Team, standardising and documenting practises, management of external dependencies and risks, help to ensure value delivery, and help drive continuous improvement.

This role may also participate in scaled agile/lean transformation and coaching leaders, teams and iteration leads in the new processes and mind-sets. In the context of these responsibilities the Delivery Manager is a key contributor the creation of a high performing culture in which we do great work - a fearless and energetic team member that takes risks and delivers what’s promised and possesses the curiosity and drive to develop additional skills to ensure team success. A bit about you The ideal candidate is an individual who has a strong background in scaled agile practises ideally coming from a Scrum Master/Iteration Manager and Release Train Engineer background.

Specific knowledge on organisation and project management and domain/process knowledge in Telco areas such as Fixed Wireless and Satellite Network design and deliver. In addition to this, your experience may also include: Vendor delivery management SAFe certification Ability to demonstrate leadership and to drive high performing teams Strong understanding of software and network development lifecycle from concept through to final implementation Life at nbn At nbn our people have a clear and shared purpose - empowering Australians to redefine the way they live, work and play into the future.
