Planning Business Partner


Our Operational Planning department is looking for a Planning Business Partner to join the Customer Marketing & Revenue division. The purpose of the role is to partner with Operations and Senior Stakeholder team to ensure consensus across short, medium, long term planning in their individual portfolios. The role is responsible for gathering planning variables and translating these into forecast models to be presented to respective stakeholders.

The role is accountable for interacting and engaging with key stakeholder groups to create a collaborative planning process. Responsibilities Gather and translate business needs into forecast models to produce both demand and supply forecasts Review historical trends, research demand drivers and dependencies to improve forecast accuracy Work closely within the business groups to review activity plans, challenge assumptions and recommend forecast adjustments accordingly Achieve consensus for demand and supply forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing, service and finance teams Provide short term resource plans and manage risk through providing recommendations and escalation Identify solutions for continuous improvement within planning tools and scorecards to optimise joint business planning with an understanding of impact, cost, and benefits Providing resource and volume inputs to annual financial budget planning Preparing and maintaining relevant sections of director & executive decks to present, solicit, facilitate sign off in review meetings Capabilities Experience in demand & supply planning, forecasting or statistical role Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline in economics, finance or management preferable. Very high proficiency in MS Excel Experience in and/or exposure to S&OP processes and procedures Experience in managing critical business deadlines Experience in working in a contact centre/customer care environment preferable Experience in forecasting in an Omni-channel environment About us The FOXTEL Group is Australia’s leading entertainment and sports subscription television business.
