The Role Through your experience in developing meaningful purpose-centred engagement programs in a leadership role in Lifestyle or Diversional/Cognitive Behavioural therapies this is a wonderful opportunity to work in a proactive role providing engagement best practice support. As a result of the impact on persons living in care due to the recent health crisis and resources being stretched, you will provide much needed support to clinical staff and carers in dementia engagement strategies.

Through your personable and collaborative approach you will provide guidance, support and education through your recommendations in dementia engagement best practice. This is a wonderful and unique service opportunity taking on a respectful person-centred approach where your natural leadership, influencing and strong communication skills will be highly valued as you build supportive working relationships with staff across all levels. The Candidate To be considered you will need to demonstrate: Experience working in a Senior Lifestyle, Diversional or a Cognitive/Behavioural management focused role working closely with persons living with dementia.

Experience developing purposeful and person-centred engagement programs. Understanding of different dementia diagnoses and BPSD behaviours Strong leadership and consultative approach who can build rapport easily. Ideally have completed or studying tertiary qualifications in Dementia Care from Diploma level upwards or alternatively an avid learner in everything dementia.

Own car along with current and full drivers’ licence. All applications from different locations are welcome as there are various areas across Sydney metro to cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with talented Dementia educators and experts and learn from the best.

NFP salary packaging of $15,900 p.a. along with phone, laptop, and car allowance.
