ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team based in Bunbury.
Reporting to the Nurse In Charge, you will be expected to provide the highest standard of service to our patients and Radiologists. ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES The Medical Imaging Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Provide a high standard of care and service to our patients and radiologists Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are understood and observed at all times in the workplace.
Assist our team of medical professionals in all aspects of patient care. Admission and preparation of patients undergoing examinations such as Ultrasound, CT and MRI, including IV Cannulation. Ability to assist with cardiac stress testing and high end CT procedure such as epidural injections.
Sound knowledge and application for post procedure care, recovery and discharge. Sound clinical knowledge and experience in the area of Palliative Care. Assistance in the performance of Medical Imaging procedures.
ABOUT YOU Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration. IV Cannulation qualification. Advanced Life Support qualification preferred but not essential.
Previous surgical or radiology experience would be beneficial. Flexibility for overtime if required. Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
