Newly Created Operations Manager Role for Financial Services Group (Lending Experience Essential) Your new company This is a group of financial services companies which have all grown quickly over the past couple of years. Due to recent investments they are looking to grow aggressively and this role is a key part of their plan, as you work closely with the Managing Director to build and foster a culture, as well as manage various lending projects. Your new role Focus on the continued development, implementation, and improvement of all business operations, systems, IT, and processes in order to drive efficiencies and performance, while minimizing risk Strong drive to continually explore and implement best practices in line with business standards and regulatory requirements Driving continual improvement in line with Kaizen principles to create efficiencies within the business and ultimately improve client outcomes, employee engagement, and further business growth Effective management of on-going projects and key initiatives to ensure timely delivery Promoting and maintaining a collaborative working environment, focusing on a one company approach Foster a culture of recognition Documentation and end-to-end mapping of processes, procedures, and policies Ensuring effective controls are in place to monitor, measure and act on any and all compliance/risk components of the business – and proactively resolving any issues that arise Facilitating user acceptance testing for key change initiatives Strong drive to continually explore and implement best practices in line with a constantly evolving business framework Attending industry events and meeting key internal and external stakeholders to further develop working relationships What you'll need to succeed You must have experience in the lending space as this role will focus heavily on that part of the business.
Candidates without this experience will not be successful for this particular position. You must have experience in working on projects, where you are reviewing current processes, helping to design new structures and them implementing them. You will also need excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders to a high level is imperative.
