Newly created role based in the South West within mining contractor for experienced HR Advisor Our client is currently evolving within their human resources capacity, and is now seeking the expertise of a qualified HR Advisor who is based in the South West. Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a generalist position where you will be responsible for the end to end employee lifecycle for both Head Office and Site. Duties will include: Supporting the management team with the provision of generalist advice Coaching and developing line management Employee relations including performance management, grievance and disciplinaries Interpretation of awards Maintenance of the HRIS system Engagement and retention strategy implementation Remuneration and benefits Aboriginal engagement and reporting It is essential that you live in the South West for this position, and that you possess the ability to travel to site on an as and when basis.
You will be an experienced generalist HR Advisor, ideally from within the resources sector and you must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards, coupled with recent ER/IR experience.
