Senior Data Architect

About Annalect: Annalect is part of the Omnicom Media Group, and services hundreds of clients across OMD, PHD, Hearts & Science, Resolution Media, Foundation, and OMG United, in addition to working on our own portfolio of direct clients. Developing a data-driven marketing strategy can be exceptionally complex – requiring a range of technical resources to strategise, deploy, monitor, and utilise technology solutions. Annalect exists to simplify this process.

We arm clients with the knowledge, tools, and technical skills required to fully realise their technology and data aspirations to achieve their marketing objectives. We come from creative, media, consulting, web development, analytics, data analysis and other core marketing disciplines to offer solutions that holistically solve client's marketing problems. The Role: The Data and Visualisation team at Annalect are looking for a Senior Data Architect to be responsible for developing and governing our Annalectdata environment, supporting various Annalect teams on various data-driven projects, as well as optimising and maintaining our data architecture and strategy.

You will develop data procedures and policies, and work closely with various teams to collect, prepare, organise and protect data assets while ensuring that the company meets global best practices. Other duties will include improving and streamlining data systems and driving innovationinternally and with strategic data partners. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do, positive attitude.

They will also have a proven track record in data management, leadership and information technology systems and tools. A strong background in IT, business and mathematics is advantageous. Responsibilities: Design and implement our data strategy Support the various teams at Annalect with various projects, as well as automation of existing Strive to continuously improve OMG's data approach, and infrastructures, coordinating data across a range of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data sources Design and implement data strategies and systems across the company more broadly Oversee the collection, storage, management, quality and protection of data Implement data privacy policies and complying with data protection regulations Advise senior management on relevant data issues Identify core changes needed to the database structure Stakeholder management across executive team, OMG IT, and regional stakeholders for special projects Requirements: Proven work experience in a similar role 5 years of experience at a senior level Prior data warehousing, data governance, and data architecture experience is essential Understanding of advertising technologies and media Clear view on how media channels work together to create a personalized marketing experience An ability to understand the commercial imperatives behind the data needs Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills In-depth understanding of database structure principles Exper.
