We are currently seeking a full-time, Accountant with a passion for numbers, business analysis, budgeting & forecasting and management reporting, to join our team in Rhodes.
Reporting to the GM - Commercial & Financial GCS and supporting the Head of Commercial, primarily your will be responsible for the finance and accounting consolidation activities across all contracts within the line of business. The role also works hand in hand with contract finance managers to deliver monthly results, budgets, forecast, performance analysis and reporting to government clients, whilst deliver contractual outcomes, resolving and contractual issues via analysis and reporting. Key to the role is to also to master the operation of the work order management system that underpins the facilities management activities and the claims environment.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving financial controls, monitoring completeness of financial compliance within the required timeframe and preparing the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow budgets and forecasts for GCS overhead cost centres. Key attributes, skills and experience Proven experience interacting with senior management in a services business with multiple services and locations Experience in contracting of services or engineering / project management Demonstrated management experience within a collaborative working environment and delivering required outcomes Demonstrated experience in working with major subcontractors and suppliers Knowledge of SAP (or similar enterprise systems), payroll, work order and claims management and pipeline Experience in managing and implementing project governance systems and processes Excellent organisational, management and co-ordination skills Strong customer service skills and the proven ability to develop, maintain and influence business relationships Proven interpersonal skills and ability to positively interact with team members Highly effective planning, reporting and prioritising skills Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills Proven commitment to the principles of service quality improvement, continuous improvement and organisational development High level of ethics and positive attitude Qualifications Required Finance or Accounting (CPA or CA) qualified Benefits and Culture Supportive and inclusive culture A professional and safe working environment Range of employee benefits and entitlements We have a strong reputable brand We drive a fun, energetic, d....
