Associate Director, Asset Based Finance

We are currently looking for an Associate Director to join the Asset Based Finance (ABF) team. ABF provides asset based finance solutions to corporate clients across Australia and New Zealand. ABF’s mandate is to focus on securitised asset based lending, receivable purchase, supplier finance and inventory finance.
ABF looks to provide an integrated offering of these products with a clear ambition to grow a stable portfolio of high returning assets earning recurring income. Supporting the Head of Asset Based Finance, you will play a pivotal role in deal origination, structuring and execution. You will be responsible for post closing management of transactions in the portfolio, including co-ordination with global transaction management teams.
You will be involved in a diverse range of activities, including: Marketing: Strategy, marketing material, pitching, identifying opportunities, follow-up Analysis: Due diligence, collateral audit, data analysis, first loss analysis, credit enhancement requirements Structuring: Drafting term sheets, transaction modelling, rating agency methodology, insolvency analysis, debt ranking, capital and return calculations, pricing Executive: Negotiating legal agreements, managing agreement execution, internal credit approvals, managing global stakeholders, rating agency sign-off and establishing reporting and monitoring framework You will be proactive, demonstrate a can-do attitude and be passionate and enthusiastic. The role requires you to be task orientated and client focussed. Attention to detail and technical skills are essential, as is developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered for the role, you will have: At least four (4) years banking experience. Graduate/post-graduate qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or Law. Experience in receivables finance/securitisation, analysis/modelling, credit risk management or general corporate banking (Desirable) This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a unique culture for a great banking brand who is one a market leader in the agri lending space.
