Sitting within the Sales team, the successful applicant will have a strong technical knowledge of goods and market conditions in the print industry. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be expected to possess an inbuilt ambition to succeed, grow existing customers as well as generating significant new business opportunities. With expertise in flexographic, lithographic and digital printing, you will able to provide the right advice and solutions to clients to enable them to meet their printing and communication goals.
The successful applicant will provide a consultative service to understand client needs and requirements, and have the technical knowledge to advise customers in the areas of flexographic, lithographic and digital printing. Through this approach, the successful applicant will grow the revenue base. Main responsibilities: Provide technical expertise and drive sales Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers Managing your portfolio of customers, from a diverse range of industry segments, focussing on retention and growth Cross-sell the full range of IVE products and services Build strong working relationships with clients at varying levels Achieve sales targets Demonstrate a high level of team values and professionalism Key requirements: 5 years’ experience in a senior sales role A strong technical understanding of the print and communications industry Solid understanding of reprographics, prepress and print production.
Technical knowledge in the areas of flexographic, lithographic and digital printing and output Possessing an established network of key contacts within the print and communications sector Experience in managing and securing new major customers Relentlessly customer orientated Practical knowledge of all sales/marketing functions Ability to develop and maintain excellent multi-level customer and prospective customer relationships Ability to gain an in-depth understanding and insight into a potential customer’s business model in order to build compelling value propositions Comfortable preparing presentations and further presenting across all levels including C level executives Proven ability to make commercial decisions which result in positive outcomes for the business An ability to work autonomously, taking full ownership with minimal direction Effective communications across all levels of the organisation A competent level of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Advanced user of sales tools such as Linkedin & CRM systems A great....
