Sales Account ManagerRed Hat
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join us in Sydney, Australia. In this role, you will represent Red Hat’s solutions and services to a customer base of strategic enterprise companies. You'll determine the sales strategy and messaging, and you will align our virtual team with the strategy, ensuring effective delivery.
Understand customer issues and opportunities to map solutions that deliver positive results Follow technical and business industry trends and serve as a thought leader Meet quantitative and qualitative performance expectations and present key messages and value proposition to C-level executives Actively participate in business development activities Develop and work with an ecosystem of business partners and influencers to assist with the sales process Enter and maintain all customer and sales details in Salesforce.com (SFDC) 7-10 years of selling technology offerings or services; experience successfully managing large accounts in the software or services industry Consistent record of meeting performance goals Ability to communicate comprehensive technological strategies to a wide range of decision makers within an organization Infrastructure or middleware technology experience, along with a passion for open source technology, is a plus Experience with the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing enterprise license agreements Ability to convince architects, infrastructure and application managers, and CIOs of the value proposition for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Middleware, and cloud solutions Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver reliable and high-performing Linux, hybrid cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
