Project Administration


About the company: We're looking for a Project Administrators to support the functions for a number of projects lined up for the next 12 months. Real opportunities to work alongside a wealth of knowledge within the construction industry and gain exposure to all elements and departments that support the project lifecycle. Projects will be varied and can include small fit-outs to multi-story, multi-function buildings.

The company is young, dynamic, energetic and hold themselves to high performance and delivery standards. They like to hire at this level and promote from within. We're looking for candidates that will trhive in an envrionement where you're supporting a number of functions and challenged to problem solve, suporting internal stakeholders that might not always be in the same building as you.

You'll need to be a team player and flexible in your work approach. Working with Construction Manager, Project Managers, Site Supervisors and Sub-contractors on project administration encompassing: raising purchase orders issuing progress claims engaging new sub-contractors and suppliers to meet our internal QA requirements creation of site safety folders completion of equipment schedules assisting with financial tracking of projects setting up new jobs in Procore, Sharepoint and MYOB reportingon project man hours participation in construction and project specific meetings liaise with builder from accounts, to project admin & project managers document control organise licences and clearances as required on project by project basis ad hoc admin tasks Required Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage high workload and expectations of stakeholders Demonstrates attention to detail and high level of accuracy Natural problem solver Excellent analytical skills Strong computer and MS Office suite skills Proven planning and organisational skills Project administration experience in civil or residential construction a bonus Process development and implementation experience ideal High level of customer service and professional phone manner Depending on experience, the salary will be negotiable between $55-$65k p.a.

This is a full time, 12 month contract hosted by our client, however as long as the work is there, the intention is to make the position permanent after 12 months.
