Residential Aged Care Team Leader - Mornington Peninsula

Leading a team of highly skilled Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists Comprehensive professional development Our Opportunity As the Residential Aged Care Team Leader your role will be to assist and support customer relationships and operational clinical services within a dedicated region and portfolios. This role is to ensure a collaborative approach to support residential aged care facilities (RACF) and Allied Health Professionals working at the facilities.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for clinical service delivery, staff support and day to day operations of the facilities. The role Provide high quality Allied Health Services in residential aged care. Deliver quality customer service and communication skills in the clinical setting.

Ensure that the quality and consistency of allied health services is of the highest standard. Implement strategies of continuous improvement to progress Allied Health services across the portfolio and service environments. Support and lead team members to achieve all the job deliverables with a strong focus on customer service.

Develop a support plan and career pathway plan for each direct report. Supervise limited registration Physiotherapists/Occupational therapists as applicable. Overall responsibility for team performance, the role requires excellent people leadership and support skills.

Support and lead the team through coaching / mentoring, group workshops and training days. Ensure the team operates in accordance with the contract terms and conditions for all clients at all times Support key relationship with residential aged care facility management teams & personnel What we need from you Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Occupational therapy. Aged Care and/or Health Care background 3 years of clinical experience Organised with strong attention to detail Outcomes driven Have experience with mentoring and coaching Ability to develop strong professional relationships Our People We believe our people are the key to our success, and we foster a supportive, friendly, and creative working environment.
