Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist - Melbourne


Our Opportunity We’re operating in a space that’s only going to get bigger, more innovative & increasingly dynamic. As a qualified Speech Pathologist, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments, assessments, and client focused interventions. As part of our paediatric team you’ll be involved in providing family-centred care to NDIS and private paediatric clients, with a diverse range of neurodevelopmental diagnoses and developmental delays.

You will work in collaboration with the family, teaching staff, multidisciplinary team and acute health services to deliver play-based interventions which build on the child’s existing skills and interests to help them achieve their goals and improve their confidence and quality of life . To best support our customers, you will need: A bachelor or entry-level masters degree in Speech Pathology Membership with Speech Pathology Australia with CPSP membership status Australian working rights A genuine focus on family-centred, play-based paediatric therapy. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing and diagnosing your clients’ communication and swallowing difficulties Helping to improve mealtimes for NDIS participants Development and implementation of AAC for clients with complex communication needs.

Assist clients and their families with goal setting and tailoring intervention plans that can be integrated into the client's routine and play at their home and school setting.
