Number of vacancies available: 1 Position Summary: Multiple rewarding and challenging opportunities exists within the Community Housing Unit in the Housing Growth and Commerical Development Branch of Homes Victoria, for highly experienced Principal Managers. The Principal Project Managers will work in a collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to affordable housing for Victorians. The roles will have program oversight and responsibility for delivering the Government's agenda of substantially increasing social and affordable housing in Victoria through collaboration with non-profit organisations that provide social and affordable housing, known as community housing organisations.
The Principal Project Managers will lead the evaluation and selection of competitive community housing sector proposals for new social and affordable housing, with a view to property development and delivery feasibility, support the planning and implementation of sector funding and lead the negotiation and execution of funding agreements with successful community housing organisations. Are you: Experienced in the planning, implementation and monitoring of funding grants for large scale infrastructure projects Experienced in leading negotiations, commercial contracting and procurement activities Experienced in delivering highly complex, infrastructure projects with multiple consultancies and stakeholders An experienced strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to apply strategic assessment and risk management frameworks and principles? Able to manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects (including feasibility, design management, tendering and contract administration) with a focus of identifying risks and establishing risk mitigation processes?
