The role This role provides leadership to agile teams delivering work that forms part of the IT Strategic Plan and operational support. Key responsibilities Reporting to the Manager, Planning, Procurement, Program and Project Delivery , you will be responsible for: Leading and facilitating agile practices at the team level, including daily stand-up meetings, iteration and sprint planning, sprint demonstrations and retrospectives. Ensuring that agile delivery artefacts, such as product and sprint backlogs, kanban boards, etc.
) are developed and maintained in accordance with industry good practice and quality standards. Facilitating the day-to-day running of cross-functional agile teams, resolving conflicts and removing obstacles or roadblocks if they occur. Facilitating internal communication and effective collaboration by developing good working relationships across the organisation.
Driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience as a Scrum Master within an IT setting, including a record of successfully delivering IT based products and solutions. Sound understanding of the events, artefacts and methods of agile practice (with a strong preference for SAFe practices), including the ability to adapt and apply fit-for-purpose management techniques as agile practices are increased within the organisation.
Well developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills, with sound judgement. Highly developed leadership, collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills.
