About the Company The company is a leading provider of vehicle parts, accessories, equipment and service solutions. Our client is looking for a Group Safety Advisor to provide advice and support to interstate and local teams, driving and coordinating all work health and safety activities across the business including identification and control of hazards, prevention of injuries, reporting, training and communication.
About the Role Based in Melbournes Northern Suburbs area, reporting to the Zero Harm Manager, in this hands-on role you'll: Be very mobile in this autonomous role, regularly visiting sites Take initiative, identify opportunities and solutions Be an engaging, dynamic safety person, a strong communicator, can start generating safety conversations with all levels and stakeholders Quick thinking, quick responder, proactive in their approach and looks at the bigger picture Very operational in their approach to safety and hands-on Can write policies and procedures, conduct SOPS, risk assessments and incident investigations To be great in this role you: 5 years in warehousing/retail environments Multi site experience, shared services, automotive or manufacturing background Tertiary qualifications in WHS ICAM qualification (preferred) and the ability to Lead Investigations Cert IV Training & Assessment Knowledge of legislative requirements and code of practices Ability to work Autonomously and be accountable for all areas of work If you would like to apply for this position please hit apply or contact Ken on 1300 28 00 68 for a confidential discussion..
