Tennis AustraliaTennis Central is seeking expressions of interest for a Senior Coach to join our fun and supportive team at Robertson Park Tennis Centre Our programs at Tennis Central includes Hot Shots Tennis for kids, In-school Tennis Coaching, Junior Coaching as well as Junior Development Squads. We also offer an extensive Adult program which includes our ever popular Social Night Leagues, Cardio Tennis, Drop-in Training and Adult Beginner’s. Our programs are open six days a week and are open to the wider community.
As a Senior Coach, you will be responsible for the delivery of our Junior and Adult Coaching Programs by providing high-quality classes and supportive instruction to our students. As our programs run from 7:30am to 8.00pm, availability for morning, evening and weekend shifts may be required.
What we are looking for; A go-getter with a can-do attitude A strong understanding of the Tennis Australia ANZ Hot Shots Program A thorough understanding of the modern technical and tactical aspects of Tennis A history of competitive play and a strong passion for all things related to Tennis You pride yourself on self-accountability and achieving goals – you consistently exceed people’s expectations Desire to work in a Team where speed and agility is valued and you have the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise your work in a fast paced changing environment. A current Working With Children Card and Police Check. TA Club Professional desired; TA Junior Development Coach Qualification essential.
3 years coaching experience Effective communication skills.
