Assistant CoachTennis Australia
High Performance Tennis (HPT) is looking to appoint as assistant coach to join our team in 2021 with approximately 15 hours per week to begin with. This person needs to be enthusiastic and a highly motivated tennis professional and must be prepared to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends (Sundays). HPT is committed to excellence and focused on development.
We operate out of ETKG Tennis Club and Hectorville Tennis Club in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs and offer a range of coaching programs from Hot Shots to Cardio Tennis. What you will need to bring to the role: Passionate about growing the sport Strong communication skills Reliable and punctual Willingness to learn and be part of a team Knowledge of the tennis coaching pathway in Australia Ability to coach players of all ages and abilities Commitment to continued professional development Tennis Australia coach member or willingness to become a TA member (essential) Working With Children Checks, National Police Clearance and First Aid certification (essential) Tennis Australia Junior Development Qualification or higher is required (or willingness and ability to acquire this level within 12 months) HOURLY RATE Competitive wages based on qualifications and experience ADDITIONAL Drivers license (essential) Good level tennis playing background Long-term career interest desirable If you have what it takes and are a passionate tennis coach who loves tennis, we would love to hear from you.
