A rare opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Specialist to join their team based at their Fremantle WA site.
The role requirements include all warehouse operations undertaken to company and legislative standards. This is an initial 3 months tenure opportunity with an excellent remuneration on offer and an immediate start available. Duties Include: Performing Warehouse & Distribution activities safely Filling work orders, special orders & stock orders, managing min-max ordering of warehouse stocked items Counting & Sorting incoming goods to verify receipt of items against shipping notices Regularly complete general housekeeping duties to ensure warehouse and equipment are maintained to a reliable and safe standard Use Computers and other technology to complete daily tasks Perform stock takes Actively support the Company's Environment Management System Assist the team and ensure knowledge and skills are up to date Handling of Dangerous Goods Adhering to company OH&S regulations by demonstrating personal responsibility and well-being to everyone around, follow OMS and contribute to a safe and sustainable workplace Essential Criteria: LF forklift licence MUST have worked in a production environment and demonstrated personal commitment and process improvements for performance improvement Sound technical aptitude Computer literate Ability to work with minimum supervision and continually prioritise and plan work activity WH&S awareness applicable to plant/ warehouse operations First aid certificate and training in safety systems Desirable Criteria: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing/ production environment Working knowledge of oil field equipment & material Training in 5S and Continuous improvement Working knowledge & experience with Maximo and SAP To submit your application in strict confidence, click the 'apply' button.
