Advise, liaise and assist all staff with the effect and application of human resource management policies and practices.Participate as required in the selection of administrative staff for vacant positions.Coordinate leave and relieving opportunities for administrative officers within the respective administrative support groups ensuring staffing levels are adequate.
Oversee the recording and indexing of all inward and outward correspondence.Assist in the compilation and processing of budgetary returns and reports in relation to overtime, weekend units and travelling allowances.Prepare banking, process expenditure and other vouchers and maintain Collection Accounts.
Initiate order approval and requisitions for stores and equipment for the station and oversee the issuing of same.Prepare correspondence of an administrative nature on behalf of the Officer in Charge.Conduct workplace assessment for relevant subordinate staff in relation to Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) and for Human Resource Management (HRM) functions including Performance Planning and Assessment (PPA).
Applications to remain current for twelve months.
