Tell me more The Clinical Nurse is responsible for the delivery of an advanced level of nursing practice to the client in the General ward, outpatient's department and emergency department for the Bamaga Hospital. The Clinical Nurse will provide direction and support to the other nursing staff while promoting professional standards of practice and conduct and be responsible for achievement of unit goals and standards. The Clinical Nurse accepts the responsibility and maintains a portfolio relating to the National Standards for patient quality and safety, conducting audits to ensure standards are met.

The Clinical Nurse provides a high level of clinical support to the Nurse Unit Manager and carries delegated authority as defined by the Director of Nursing, Facility Manager (Bamaga) or Nurse Unit Manager.
