About WDEA Works WDEA Works is a regional not-for-profit multi-faceted organisation that works together to create all-inclusive communities that embrace and value those with disability or disadvantage. WDEA Works various branches include the Federal Government’s jobactive and Disability Employment Service programs, Social Enterprises, Registered Training Organisation and the WDEA Works Foundation which has distributed over 1 million dollars to various groups around Victoria since 2004. Today, more than 420 people are part of the WDEA Works team, at 29 sites across the Western half of regional Victoria and into South East South Australia.

Building ability. Desired Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have an ability to maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including participants, family members, carers, funding bodies and subsidiaries, community services and employers. Ideally you will have experience in employment preparation and proven skills in engaging business and community services to facilitate opportunities for people with various support requirements.

You will possess: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including skills of negotiation and liaison, and the ability to work in partnership with participants to assess their needs and develop strategies. A high level of professionalism and time management. An ability to prioritise tasks and exercise initiative and creativity in achieving desired outcomes.
