About the role Barwon Health are now recruiting for Pre-surgical education and training Unaccredited Surgical Registrars for 2021. As the Pre-Set Unaccredited Registrar, you will be required to provide effective supervised day to day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients, resident and clients within Barwon Health whilst fulfilling Medical Board of Australia pre-registration training requirements. Duties of the role include but are not limited to: Provision of direct and indirect patient care in accordance with the relevant standards prescribed by the Medical Board of Australia, Barwon Health and Australian Curriculum Framework for Junior Doctors.
Using the principles of evidence based practice, and access relevant current literature in formulating management decisions. Actively understanding and utilising the principles of informed consent, recognising that it may need to be obtained by a senior clinician. Delivery of consumer centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements.
Providing quality patient care using evidence based approach and in line with Barwon Health Policy and Procedure.
