The Pub Group is seeking experienced chefs or cooks for our busy fast-paced country hotels' restaurants serving 1500 meals per week. We need chefs and cooks who are passionate about the hospitality industry to provide exceptional customer service and meal quality. Responsibilities: Provide fast, clean & friendly meal service Practice within food safety guidelines, skill & ability level of chef qualification.
Responsible for day to day cleanliness of the kitchen and appliances Rotate stock appropriately according to purchase & expiration date Account for any shrinkage/spoiled foods Responsible for quality & standard of meal preparation, storage, cooking & presentation Keep up to date with current industry knowledge Be punctual, well presented and professional at all times Applicants must have relevant trade certificates. Must be available days, nights and weekends Strong communication skills essential Salary range is from $54000 - $65000 pa Positions located in large regional city of Tamworth which offers excellent educational, sporting and medical facilities with easy access to Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane.
