Together we Make the Difference How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne… As the Program Director – Future Workplace, you will play a crucial role in planning and implementing City of Melbourne’s Workplace of the Future program. The program includes four critical and interrelated streams of work:1.
Return to the Workplace: Transitioning our people back to City of Melbourne locations after work from home restrictions have been lifted, incorporating lessons learned and trialling new infrastructure.2.Digital Ways of Working: Rolling out new technology infrastructure and software platforms as well as prioritising investment for the future.
3.City of Melbourne Employee Experience Research: developing a robust evidence base to outline the desired future employee experience at City of Melbourne that can be used across transformation projects.4.
New Office Accommodation: Implementing workspace solutions that deliver a contemporary workplace and support for our community. Working closely with Property, Technology and CityLab and its Transformation Unit, you will be responsible for coordinating these complex streams of work in collaboration with teams across the wider organisation. Critical to your success will be your high level, systematic problem solving approaches within a complex environment.
You will possess the ability to consult, negotiate and communicate with all levels of staff, both verbally and in writing. Operating in a complex and political environment, the ability to analyse and synthesise complex information and communicate effectively is essential. •Relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant equivalent experience and proven achievement in strategic/corporate planning, project and program management or related disciplines.•Extensive experience in project and program management, including development and management of complex projects in a large and diverse organisation with multiple stakeholders. •High level interpersonal, negotiation, persuasion and problem solving skills with the ability to use discretion and judgement when working within a complex business and political environment.
