This role requires people who have a can-do, approachable and friendly nature that enables you to build lasting relationships with our home-based customers. We want people who are available evenings and weekends across a 7 day roster are genuine in their commitment to helping older ageing people retain their independence so they can remain at home in the community provide a consistent, professional and effective level of support and can clearly understand and discuss customer service plans have the capacity to clearly communicate and build relationships with other roles in the team are comfortable to work with people at a site level without direct supervision understand the expectations of the role and will align themselves with Alwyndor's values, policies and procedures have the capacity to provide effective and efficient cleaning, laundry, shopping and other light assistance in accordance with a customer service plan ensure a high level of dignity is maintained when providing personal care and health and social support activities The must haves: Certificate III in Aged Care or similar including the module CHCCS305B - Assist Clients with Medication (essential) or a willingness to obtain (prior to commencement) Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence Valid First Aid certificate Alwyndor has a long history of caring for the elderly in our community and will continue into the futurewe have a great history and even brighter future.
