The Opportunity Reporting to the Group Risk & Improvement Manager, this fixed term position will be responsible for the preparation, planning, reporting on and conducting of a range of internal audit review assignments, as well as add value through the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.

Additionally, this role will also include a broader risk management function with a focus on streamlining internal commercial and system activities of the Group to produce the most cost-effective outcome for our clients. Additionally, you will also: Provide assurance that the organisation’s financial and operational controls are operating in an efficient, effective and ethical manner. Evaluate the systems established to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulations.

Perform consulting and advisory services related to governance, risk management and internal control Determining the cyclical risk-based audit planning activities, including the development of an Internal Audit Plan The Right Candidate In addition to being an accomplished and experienced compliance professional you will also have completed relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, including certification as a CPA or CA. These qualifications and demonstrated experience will underpin your knowledge of contemporary practices in accounting and internal audit, as well as your understanding of risk management concepts and frameworks. As an individual you will be resilient, positive, and thorough with an eye for detail.
