About the Role We are seeking an individual to join our highly successful Darwin based team with a desire to provide strong leadership to our small, but growing, warehouse team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead a small but dedicated and capable team covering all warehouse functions, including rolling up your sleeves, to maintain and improve upon, our excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities will include delivering continuous improvement in safety, customer service and productivity together with liaising with the sales department to ensure customer satisfaction is assured. About You Your commitment to, and understanding of, safety is a must, ensuring adherence, reporting and the continuous development of the safety culture within the Warehouse and the Branch. To be successful you must; have strong verbal and written communication skills a genuine interest in providing customers with the best service experience possible coupled with a strong attention to detail be a natural leader with minimum 2 years warehouse management experience including the supervision of staff have experience in the aluminium or building industry (preferred not essential).
be highly conversant with strong computer skills be a team player adept at staff management be passionate, results driven with a very ‘hands on’ approach.
