Full time Afternoon Shift National Company Sydney West Opportunity for an experienced Container Forklift (Reach Stack) Operator with this National Logistics company on an afternoon shift. Our Client With over 170 years' experience they are one of Australia's leading logistics and warehousing specialist services. They provide storage, handling, freight forwarding and inventory management services for import, export and domestic distribution.

Recognised as one of the world's largest wool and independent cotton handlers they specialise in the agri-business, construction, renewable energy and retail/wholesale industry sectors. The Opportunity In this important role as a Container Forklift (Reach Stacker) Operator you will be responsible for container movements in the yard communicating with trucks via walkie talkie. You will also be required to operate a standard forklift within the shed from time to time.

Enjoy working alongside a small busy team in this large Distribution Centre in Guildford. This role and will suit someone with strong demonstrable experience in operating a Reach Stacker. Your responsibilities include: Operating container handling equipment greater than 20000kg Responsible for the loading and unloading of containers from trucks Shrink Wrapping Pallets Checking Orders Housekeeping of the work environment Adhering to quarantine/customs rules and regulations Picking and checking loads of pallets/bags/cartons/bulk product for shipment Performing stocktakes To be considered for this role you will need: A current Forklift Licence with RS endorsement (Linde experience preferred but not essential) Demonstrative Container Forklift (Reach Stacker) Operator experience Clear and concise communication skills Strong experience within the Logistics/Transport Industry A commitment to Work Health & Safety Good attention to detail RF experience To apply please submit your up to date resume (in Word format please) and include a cover letter explaining why you're right for this role.
