The Roles: Recently they have picked up a medley of interesting mixed projects prodimantly in high end residential / luxury dwellings, heritage and aged care . They have approached Randstad to recruit 2 x budding (hands on) Leading hands, looking to step up to Foreman level.

Reporting directly to the allocated PM you will be responsible in helping the daily operations of a busy site in particular carpentry requirements and helping to co-ordinate labourers and subcontractors. Duties: Supervision / co-ordination of trades, site personnel and subcontractors. Documenting site activity Compliance and monitoring of WHS QA Ensuring carpentry works are being carried out in accordance to plans.

Working closely with the PM to review the status of the project. Requirements: You will be trade or tertiary qualified ideally in Carpentry / Joinery. Experience complying with WHS, QA 2 years experience working on Commercial or New Build Projects.

High communication skills and attention to detail, positve can do attitude looking to grow. Be hungry to fast track up the ranks in a bustling environment. Full driver's license and vehicle Computer literate Previous experience working on High End Residential projects or Heritage projects (highly advantageous) Would suit a Leading Hand carpenter whom has done an apprenticeship off the tools, whom has energy and is ready to start a Foreman role.
