Account and Event Manager
Usual Suspects Creative deliver momentous live experiences – meaningful productions that influence perception and change behaviour. An Account & Event Manager at Usual Suspects is responsible for delivering complete event and experiential projects on time and within budget and managing those projects from initiation through to post-event review. Must have 5 years corporate production experience & be willing to work occasionally on weekends and long hours in the build up towards an event.
Key accountabilities: C reative Work closely with the Directors brainstorming ideas developing creative concepts Assist in preparing concept proposals including researching and presentations Manage visualisation of concepts by briefing designers Design and develop client websites Assist in managing social media channels & marketing plans Project Management Identify challenges, troubleshoot and provide solutions Lead teams in the task of developing and implementing projects Manage and/or prepare internal and external written briefings Client liaison for duration of projects & running client WIP meetings Manage event RSVP and ticketing Write & manage run sheets, bump in/bump out schedules Manage co-ordination and implementation of creative Lead liaison and coordination with production and build teams Lead liaison and coordination of all third party suppliers Lead project budgeting (individual budgets of up to $100k autonomously) Manage day-to-day workflow to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget Manage all production schedules, specifications and budgets for assigned jobs National and international travel to plan for and deliver live projects On-site management Oversee bump in of suppliers, managing crews, training staff Oversee the smooth running of event, problem solving etc Oversee bump-out within OH&S and company standards Write and present debrief and wrap up Manage internal and external talent Scope and risk management Produce detailed OH&S plans and risk assessments as required Identify and alert Management of any issues that could impede successful delivery of the activation Legals / budgeting / scheduling / quality / resource management Ensure all legal/contractual obligations are met with both clients and suppliers Assist with reconciliation and analysis of projected vs. actual budgets and control any variances Supply schedule, budget, assumptions, and scope considerations for all production elements Industry Experience We are looking for someone who has first hand experience across a broad range of client industries, including finance, sport and not-for-profit Professional Skills Clear and professional communication skills internally and externally Excellent written communications skills Design and styling skills – natural eye for what looks good Project management experience Work autonomously as well as under direction; get on with the job Multi-task and work under time pressure Excellent time managem....
