Hunter Valley Seat Specialists located in Rutherford NSW is seeking an experienced purchasing officer on a fulltime basis with an immediate start. Reporting to the managing director, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the purchasing and inventory functions of the business. Key responsibilities: Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules Sourcing materials, goods, products and services Monitoring stock levels Ensuring all orders are receipted accurately and on time.
Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality or delivery issues Maintain strong and effective relationships with suppliers Work closely with our team to ensure efficient product flow Coordinate with the store man to ensure proper storage Booking and tracking freight Any other ad hoc duties as assigned Requirements: Minimum 2 years in a similar role Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written High level of accuracy and attention to detail The ability to work under pressure Great organisational and time management skills Strong skills in Microsoft office suite MYOB experience is essential To apply for this position, please click the apply button on this page.
