Globe 24 7The Company Globe 24-7 has partnered with a well known mining company to support in the recruitment of a Mine Planning Engineer to join their growing Technical Planning team and operations in Queensland. The Role This role will be responsible for but not limited to the follow duties: Creating the Mine Budget Plan/Long Term Plan Creating 3 month plan in line with the budget plan Managing balance between real time inputs and cascading of the Long Term/Medium Term plans to produce weekly and monthly plans Meeting weekly and monthly deliverables; compliance reports Review planning/operation trends and develop improvements where necessary The Requirements Minimum 5 years experience as Mining Engineer Significant experience with underground mine design and planning Strong understandinf of engineering and demonstrated experience generating innovative technical and operations solutions Experience with Surpac, Datamine and EPS Understanding of Mine economics and evaluation techniques Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels The Rewards This exciting role will allow for varying locations including FIFO from Brisbane, DIDO from Townsville or a further residential set up with generous housing assistance.
