We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator / Line Setter with demonstrable experience within a Food, Beverage, Dairy or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment to join our client on a Full-time basis on Day or Afternoon Shift, servicing their Food Manufacturing site located in Braeside . The positions will involve working from Monday to Friday , providing technical support to the production function. You will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end running of a production line to achieve production targets and process reliability.

This will include Line Setting, Changeovers, Quality Control and basic Troubleshooting of faults. All positions commence on Day Shift starting between 5:30 am and 8:00 am, and will transition to Afternoon shift after 2-4 weeks' of successful training. Additional responsibilities will include: Performing pre-operative checks, setup of equipment and machines to ensure the production starts within the set timelines Checking and recording the packing materials information to ensure that the materials, quantity and batch information received are correct Following the work instructions, production recipes and SOPs Monitoring and controlling the production parameters according to the specification Performing Quality Control Checks and In-Process Monitoring Checks ( i.

e. metal detector checks, product temperature and weight, packet seals and printed batch information etc.) Cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and machines Assisting in other areas of production as required, including packing, blending, batching To be successful in this position, you will be expected to have: Hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment in a similar role, preferably within an FMCG manufacturing environment (Food and Beverage, Dairy, Pharmaceutical etc.

) Good technical aptitude and experience working with various production machines Good reading, writing and basic mathematical skills to enable a good understanding of instructions, recipes and quantities Experience with HACCP and GMP within a Lean manufacturing environment will be looked upon favourably Strong commitment towards OH&S This position is with a view to Permanency after a 3 - 6 months trial period for the right candidate.
