AurecAbout the role: This unique you will see you help build the global footprint of my client in Australia, initially being in a technical leadership role which will grow into a head of technology position. They are a well recognised Low latency trading firm who are looking to expand into Australia. If you are looking to have that "start-up" culture but with a huge amount of financial backing and job security, then this is a perfect opportunity.
As one of the first people to join this venture, you will be heavily involved in building the team and have a lot of influence on the technical direction and culture of the organisation. At first you will need to be somewhat hands on with coding experience in C++/Python. As the company grows, this role will transition into more of a pure leadership/head of tech role as the company expands.
Your Skills: Experienced building and managing multidisciplinary technology teams preferred Technical background in modern C++ development Knowledgeable of equity and/or derivatives markets Able to solve new and unfamiliar problems creatively Possess a strong understanding of network stack They are offering a very attractive salary package for the right candidate as this role is of paramount importance to driving their success in Australia.
