Inner Western Sydney Location Government Organisation Permanent Position Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist An IAM Specialist is required for a government entity to help them in the design, implementation and support of identity and access management services. This person will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance across all their identity and access management functions, in accordance with their security and process guidelines. The Role: Actively pursue possibilities to enhance cyber security processes and procedures and develop business cases to present new solutions to management.
Contribute and participate to the ICT change and problem management processes. Source and adapt the identity management systems and ICT infrastructure to support the contemporary future state Develop, implement, and drive systems policies, processes, and procedures Monitor and ensure identity services and access management services operational metrics are meeting the agreed standards by the organisation Ensure ICT Systems services improvements are communicated to all stakeholders as defined and are understood using effective communication skills. Experience Required: 2 years as an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist - previous government /education sector experience would be advantageous Experience in working on large size initiatives and be able to drive outcomes and provide technical support in IAM Proven extensive hands-on experience in managing identity service solution delivery from architecture, design, and deployment to enterprise environments.
Proven extensive hands-on experience in design and implementing Single Sign on Solutions with industry standards. Strong technical documentation skills across high level and low-level design Experience in automating solutions and migrations using code scripting (Python, Java or Powershell etc) A strong emphasis on the full project lifecycle from planning, architecture, design and build through to test and implementation. Possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working with Okta is essential Holding Certifications in ITIL or Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Azure is a bonus.
