About the position Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service - ensuring the seamless interface between client requirements and the function operations. This Full Time role will be responsible for promoting Wests facilities, converting enquiries into business, as well as coordinating all bookings to ensure the conference/event runs smoothly.
Responsibilities include: Manage the client from enquiry to event Function enquiries Co-ordinating weddings Database management Menus Event orders Formulation of conference/wedding packages Tracking reports Invoicing for all conferencing, events and functions. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with a strong customer focus and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate thrives on delivering an exceptional customer experience, possesses strong communication skills and has the ability to problem solve.
About you You will have previous experience in an events type role and demonstrated history in running large events. You will possess high level administration skills and proficiency in MS office suite with a keen eye for detail. Hospitality or events qualifications will be highly regarded.
