We currently have a fulltime vacancy for a highly motivated individual to undertake an Information Technology traineeship. Our Host Employer is looking for a reliable individual with an interest in Information Technology to support their team.
This entry level position, ideal for a current school-leaver, is working within a well-respected Geelong secondary college and will be commencing in Term 1, 2021. The Role: Provide technical support to staff & students via ICT HelpDesk, Teams, email, phone and face to face Assist staff & students with Windows 10 and Office 365 enquirers Work with vendors/suppliers to report faults and organise repairs and replacements Undertake other basic system administration duties as trained and directed by ICT Leader About You: To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Good understanding of basic IT Principles across Network, Server and Desktop environments Genuinely passionate about technology and driven to build a career in IT Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation Passionate about helping young people and education Accuracy and high attention to detail What to expect: You will be required to work a 38 hour week (including TAFE training). As a trainee of Gforce you will be a valued member of our friendly and supportive staff, while receiving award wages and on-the-job training.
