Boilermakers/Welders for our Mackay Workshop BAE ENGINEERING is seeking applications from Trade Qualified Boilermakers and Trade Qualified Welders for current work in Mackay. Applicants will require the following: Commitment to safety in all aspects Good work ethic Work as part of a great team Desire to improve your way of life Skills and Experience: Must have previous workshop experience within a similar environment All applicants must be able to meet AS2980 weld qualification. Ability to pass D & A testing Site welding / repairs as required.
Working at heights in EWPs Responsibilities will include; Study drawings or specifications to determine appropriate welding processes and other job requirements; Weld and fabricate plates, structures, or pipes as required. Pipework Flux core arc welding. Working with QT and Mild steels.
Fabricating from engineering drawings Benefits and Perks: This is a full-time permanent position following an initial 3 month trial probation period. The role may also lead to some site based roles dependent upon operational requirements. All applicants must be able to meet AS2980 weld qualification, be reliable, well presented and want to work and live in the best place in the world.
Wages: Trade Qualified Boilermakers $34.19 Penalties where applicable. Trade Qualified Welder $31.
11 penalties and loading where applicable. Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 6.00am to 2.
00pm (half hour lunch break). Overtime is offered to employees when required with penalty rates (time and half and double time where applicable)..
