BASE 51 FUNCTIONAL FITNESS is currently looking to employee fitness centres manager who can be responsible for every aspect of the day-to-day management of the centre such as managing staff and controlling the technical aspects of fitness provision and health and safety. Duties and responsibilities: • Enhancing profitability by organising and delivering an appropriate range of fitness activities and programmers • Recruiting, training and supervising staff • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation • Maintaining customer service standards • Dealing with enquiries, complaints and emergencies • Maintaining fitness equipment • Undertaking administrative and sales tasks such as: • Liaising with local and overseas suppliers and distributors about orders and products • Negotiate contracts and agreements with end buyers/sellers and with distributors and agents • Preparation of product information for customer service staff and customers Requirements: • Industry related experience or training. • Business, management, sales and marketing skills • Good problem solving skills • Good communication and negotiation skills • Sound interpersonal and organisational skills The candidate will be offered a salary package of $55,000 - $70,000 super.
