Hussey & Co Pty Ltd ABN: 35913060246 Mechanical Engineer SALARY OFFERED: $80,000 - $90,000 (Fulltime) Somerville Victoria Our growing FMCG business located on the Mornington Peninsula, is looking for an energetic, passionate & highly experienced Mechanical Engineer Duties will include: Plans, designs, organises and oversees the assembly, erection, operation and maintenance of mechanical and process plant and installations. Establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation Analysing workforce utilisation, facility layout, operational data and production schedules and costs to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies Designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction Developing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant and systems Organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment Establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations It is essential you possess the following: Hands on and show of commitment Successful completion of an appropriate degree Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role or ability to adapt and display skills required Good analytical skills, attention to detail and decision-making ability Proven ability and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to communicate across all levels of the business Ability to work autonomously, without supervision.
