Route Development Manager

Route Development Manager – Wingfield, SA CEVA Logistics has an opportunity for a Route Development Manager to join our team based in Cormack Road, Wingfield, SA. Reporting to Head Air Ocean Sales ANZ. Route Development is responsible for Trade Lane sales to/from overseas to Australia.

Diving New Business through marketing and promotion pricing campaign to support business development. Another key focus is Campaign Sales which you will engage with the Product Team driving overseas sales rate & marketing strategy On offer: Salary $100,000 - $110,000 super Staff discounts and benefits Progression Key Responsibilities; Work closely with Local, Regional and Global building Trade Lane Strategies: to identify potential market, collaboration with the team to implement promotion campaign for services of airfreight, ocean freight and LCL consolidation. Work corroboratively with the business development teams to maximize margins, increase revenue growth and support BD by joining face to face client meetings or conference calls: based on agreed campaign program of pricing, new products, then accompany with sales team for customer visiting to understand their requirements and feedback on the rate, new products and how they are aware of Ceva brand name, reputation in comparison with competitors, how Ceva is positioned in the market then adjust marketing program suitable to customer’s expectation as well as maximize profit for the company and support for sales team to increase gross revenue.

Advise to the management and business development team on all elements of marketing such as product mix, pricing, advertising and sales promotion, selling, and distribution channels Interpret and predict current and future customer trends and market competitions. Opportunity mapping, planning detailed customer information: base on customer’s feedback from marketing program for promotion rate and new products, coordinate with the team to rebuild campaign. Campaign Sales development: Undertaking market research, market intelligence for specific focused markets by regular research; analysing data regarding customers pattern and preferences.

Based on this result, create advertising strategies and campaigns to assist for business development to achieve target markets, increase customer awareness of Ceva brand name in the market as well as offer suitable services with client’ expectation. Commercial negotiations preparation and execution: manage program within the budget for activities: video/film production, brochure. Product development, knowledge and understanding: well understanding services of air freight, ocean freight, LCL consolidation, local distribution to have an appropriate, comprehensive and effective marketing program which support for business development.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Min. 5-8 years of marketing experience, preferably multi-national in logistics industry. Strategic, cross-functional thinker, operation strategy experience preferred.
