Sales Operations Specialist

Marketplacer is continuing to recruit with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices. With over 60 marketplaces, connecting over 15,000 businesses, and with buyers across 11 countries, Marketplacer is an established leader in building online marketplaces that continues to grow every year.

No two days will look the same for our Sales Operations Manager, from owning the sales operations process to creating workshops for our customers, you thrive in an environment where you can roll-up your sleeves, work autonomously, and be a quick learner. You will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to day-to-day problems, be highly organized, and be able to communicate results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

You will proactively seek answers in self-service tools, and know when to ask for guidance. Requirements What you’ll be doing; Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders, leveraging data and analyses to land business insights, help develop strategies Working with the sales team and own the sales operation process across all of Marketplacer’s systems (Hubspot etc) Partner cross-functionally to identify, create and deliver sales enablement content Producing regular reporting for the Leadership team, Support the tracking and analysis of the key business development growth KPIs, including sales volumes; forecasting accuracy; pipeline growth rates; win/loss rates; upsells and renewals; sales rep quota attainment. Work with the Finance team to enforce deal compliance.

Review all outbound sales material to ensure consistency and compliance. Simplify sales and sales operations systems and tools, developing outstanding operational practices Drive the advancement and automation of key data gathering, analysis, and insights Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company Review and update basic Sales contracts, NDA’s and obtain discount approvals where required Benefits Your background; 3 years of related experience in sales operations Strong knowledge of sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, pricing and reporting/analytics. Strong working knowledge of sales productivity tools, including best practices for use, integrations and reporting.

Experience in developing, implementing and tightly managing sales process improvement programs. Experience collaborating with leaders cross-functionally (e.g.

Finance, HR and Marketing). Bonus points; You will come from an Enterprise SaaS or e-commerce platform Deep understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue metrics Direct experience in the use and optimisation of Hubspot Successful experience in hig.
