Position Overview: Ensure staff areas and facilities are cleaned according to the standards specified by the property. Duties and Responsibilities Clean all staff accommodation areas except for occupied rooms.

Do an inspection of the staff village areas every morning, collecting rubbish and cleaning areas as required. Clean and maintain public areas including the staff laundry, Staff Kitchen, gym, outside of staff rooms, garden areas, and pool area. Clean the pool area daily and regularly ensure pool chairs are aligned throughout the day.

Collect paperwork from the Human Resources office daily, displaying memos and notices and carrying out all other duties as required. Inspect all rooms including resort staff rooms prior to the arrival of each new live-on employee. Inspect all rooms including resort staff rooms upon the departure of each live-on employee.

Report any cleaning or maintenance issues to Human Resources in a timely manner. Assist and carry out maintenance duties in Staff Village as and when required and directed within the scope of capabilities. Assist and carry out gardening duties in Staff Village as and when required and directed within scope of capabilities.

Carry out programmed/regular cleaning duties as allocated. Assist the Human Resources department with conducting room inspections. Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment as set down in the procedures manual.

Ensure all department equipment is maintained to a high standard. Always ensure the security of keys and public/back of house areas by adherence to security procedures. Report any suspicious persons or items to HR.

Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturers' instructions. Follow property procedures with respect to grooming, performance and conduct standards, occupational health and safety, emergency procedures, and all other property policies and procedures as detailed in the employee handbook/department procedure manual/company policy manuals.
