Maintenance Fitter
Page Group AustraliaUndertake corrective, predictive and preventative maintenance in accordance with the companies procedures and protocols to ensure plant, equipment and machine optimisation and efficiency. Client Details My Client a world renowned manufacturer of pharmaceutical products who is having a helping hand in the creation of a Covid-19 vaccine. Description Undertake machine change-overs and set up equipment including dispensing, palletising, capping, packing, stoppering and tunnel sterilisers.
In the instance of breakdown, diagnose, assess and rectify technical issues. Provide a customer focused mechanical technical service for faults, service and repairs . Provide advice to production and engineering that will improve efficiency and plant optimisation Complete documentation and input data associated with work orders, SOPs and relevant documents Undertake an active role in capital projects for the improvement, optimisation and modification of existing plant and equipment Train operators in the use and optimisation of plant from time to time Provide clear expectations and feedback to internal customers (manufacturing staff) on the time required to complete allocated tasks Communicate to internal customers any overtime and production line time requirements to ensure timely completion of all tasks Facilitate end of shift handover meeting to ensure all relevant production, breakdown, maintenance, trial and training information is documented for day shift Profile Working hours are 73.
5 hours fortnight. 3 shifts and weekend work pattern included into standard working hours when requested. Extended hours may be required to meet project priorities and objectives Fitter and Turner qualification with at least some relevant working experience Understanding of relevant GMP requirements an Knowledge of cGMP, EHS Good communication skills, Good computer skills, ability to work with CMMS and create work orders, print and close out work orders Experience in pharmaceutical or food industry would be beneficial Experience in packaging and production machinery maintenance in a relevant automated manufacturing environment preferred Good understanding of packaging and other industrial equipment preferred Good understanding of Condition Monitoring and Reliability Centred Maintenance preferred Job Offer A very attractive hourly rate and chance for overtime and penalty rates is on offer for the successful candidate.
